High above Atlanta

We wanted to shoot the "News To Me" One Year Anniversary show someplace sexy... luckilly, right next door to CNN Center is the posh Glenn Hotel. Home to the Maxim Prime Steakhouse and it's amazing rooftop bar. Even luckier than it's convenient location was the fact that the bar was under renovation so we were able to shoot up there without having to get all dressed up!

Luckier STILL was the fact that CNN production photographer and "Morning Express with Robin Meade" jib operator extraordinaire Adam Shumaker was on hand to photograph some behind the scenes stuff for us.

We took advantage of this amazing location AND the fact that the sun had not yet gone down to shoot an interview with Chris Leavins of Cute With Chris fame. That's Eric in the shot below shooting OUR side of the interview which you'll see in a couple weeks. That's me with my back to you in the blue shirt, Teague is behind the camera and Turner audio guy Chris next to Eric:

It was a very cool place to be, and we got SO LUCKY with the weather... crystal clear skies and almost no wind.

I'll leave you with one more photo and this little tease... tomorrow is the first day that this blog will be "LIVE!" Yes, we've been posting, and yes anyone could have stumbled upon it, but we haven't really promoted our new little venture yet. Eric's first post will be our first "official" entry and it will be up tomorrow. He's hinted that it might be a little bizarre.
