News to Me Caption This

Over on the "News To Me" showpage you'll find our latest attempt to increase the digits on our hit odometer... All you gotta do is put a caption for the photo above in the comments below. We'll post some of the good ones on our site, and we'll put the BEST one (or two) on the air!

Where did we find this photo?

This pic was taken by Chuck Loucka who uploaded it to iReport.com. Chuck told us that the vehicle was left in a parking lot behind a car dealership & due to the incredible amount of snow they got in northern Maine this past winter, it became buried in a snow bank. At some point a front-end loader was pushing the snow bank back & accidentally lifted up the vehicle along with the snow... and there it stayed.

Chuck went on to tell us that, "People who first saw the picture assumed it was something I 'doctored up' on photo shop, but it is a real picture straight off my camera."

The folks over at iReport will be happy to take the stuff straight off your camera too! Send 'em something!

I not so sure I'm buying the idea this isn't a fabricated photo. The shadow under the front of the vehicle doesn't match the same origin of light that cast the shadow of the side view mirror. Also, Vehicle Bra's are typically used to prevent bugs from collecting on the paint and grill, critters that are very scarce in winter. The time of year and the accessory doesn't make sense.
Amazingly enough, this vehicle is pretty clean in contrast to the snow around it, save for a little tire dirt at the bottom of the tire and along the running board. If this vehicle hasnt moved since it was buried and the snow melts around it, why isnt the vehicle showing the same dirt build up as the snow around it?
"a front-end loader was pushing the snow bank back & accidentally lifted up the vehicle along with the snow" Ok...but where is the snow that is supposed to be under the vehicle that got pushed with the vehicle? If the loader driver didnt see the vehicle, Did someone dig the snow out from under just the vehicle? and why did they stop? Wouldnt snow melt faster around a vehicle exposed to the sun than under a vehicle shady area?

sorry, I don't buy this:)

On a cold December morning Batman and Robin transform the batmobile into a mild inconspicuous ride. They shoot out of the bat cave, through the snow mirage, and are on their way to engage the notorious snowman known as "yeti" . Stay tuned!

Look officer, my wife Betty was driving. I look at the map, tell her to make the next left turn, and as she does we hit this hole, and bam here we are in Northern Maine.
